Odin's Salad
Description
We're going to be making an all time classic salad dish, cesar salad with Odin's own twist. Odin's twist is using
his own homemade dressing, which is made with a blend of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and anchovies.
This salad is made by tossing fresh romaine lettuce with croutons, Parmesan cheese, and the homemade dressing, then garnishing with additional cheese and a sprinkle of black pepper.
Ingregients
- Romaine lettuce
- Croutons
- Parmesan cheese
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Garlic
- Anchovies
- Black pepper
- Salt
Instructions
- Wash and dry the romaine lettuce, then tear it into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, croutons, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and finely chopped anchovies to create the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
